This take-out only place has the BEST barbecue on the island, and honestly the best coleslaw I've ever had in my life. Their pulled pork sandwich is HUGE. Get there early, cause they tend to run out of food before the place closes. Brand new spot, already a big hit with everyone I've talked to.

This place is incredible. Great service and an awesome selection of sauces and dry rubs. We were at OBA for our vacation and wanted to find some lunch, this place hit the spot. Their pulled pork is clutch. Recommend Guy Fieri do a DDD show on this place!

This is the first take out only food establishment I have ever given 5 stars to. I repeat - it is take out only. That being said, this is a must if you are visiting Gulf Shores. We ordered the family pack with pulled pork and ribs with sides of beans , slaw, and potato salad. Everything was excellent. The potato salad is outstanding. Do yourself a favor and order extra potato salad. seriously order extra potato salad.

On a tip from a fellow vacationer at the Beach Club, we ordered bbq take-out from this place one night and boy was it GOOD. We got a large family special from their website which included sides (we got potato salad, beans and slaw). Everyone in our family of 8 (mom/dad, 3 teenagers, 1 middle schooler, 2 grade school) loved it. Coming from Kansas City where we are blessed with AMAZING bbq, that's saying a lot. Perfect for us on a night we didn't want to cook and no one wanted to sit at (wait at) a restaurant. We were amused that the sign out front says "Tatoos, Piercing, BBQ" and perhaps a bit skeptical but we were happily impressed.

I was hoping to review their food but since they do not keep the hours posted on their web page I was not able to eat there, and they do not have posted hours on the restaurant. A side note Hardee's posts their correct hours on their web site and restaurant so I didn't starve. Before you go there call ahead to be sure they are open .

Delicious food! Had a little of everything - ribs, chicken, pork, potato salad, slaw, beans. It was all great and servings plentiful. Would highly recommend the Mama Lynn's wrap, too. Called 3 hours in advance with our order and he was pulling it off the grill as I got there. Paid and walked out the door in 5 minutes. Would recommend calling ahead so you don't have to wait in line. Note that it is only carry out.

We decided to pick this up based on other yelp reviews, and were blown away! Best BBQ ever! I got the big Buford pulled pork sandwhich (so much pork coulda filled 3 buns) and a small side of beans and potato salad. My husband got the smokehouse sample and he hardly took a breath in between bites! Authentic homemade and the employees in there or owners were so friendly!!! Definitely go!

I've been meaning to stop in and finally made it. The owner was friendly and committed to producing quality Q. Batches are made daily and when it's gone it's gone. No soggy frozen six month old bbq here. Instead you get nice plump smoked meat with the original texture. That also means no 9-5 hours (Hardee's really?). When it's ready they open, when it's gone they close. They have a big neon open sign, when it's lit stop on in. I'm a big fan of dry bbq but the sauces where well seasoned not all sugar and served on the side. Looking forward to the Thanksgiving smoked turkey.

Ordered 2 racks of ribs and 2 smoked chickens for my birthday party while we were on vacation. LOVED the meat and the sauce. I wasn't super-wowed by the sides, but the coleslaw was fresh and crunchy with a good vinegar flavor and the potato salad had bacon in it (yum!). We had stopped in the day before to place the order, and everything was ready right on time when we came to pick up. Even got to hear a few good stories about the shipwrecks off the beach. A must eat in Gulf Shores! Can't wait to come back next year for my birthday and order Buford's again.
